Your fellowship committee has set up a fun event for our members for Wednesday, October 18th at the AB Biergarten. We have spaced reserved for us beginning at 5:30 pm to spend some time together playing some fun games and catching up on each other's busy lives. Join us for our own Octoberfest and plan to stick around for a live comedian at 7:00 pm. We will supply some appetizers, but meals and drinks will be the responsibility of club members and guests. Over the past 25 years, Len Sandler has successfully developed and delivered close to 3,000 management and leadership seminars designed to help people at all levels to improve their job performance. He has conducted programs for such organizations as EMC, NASA, GEICO, General Motors, IBM, Siemens, AT&T, Disney, Lockheed-Martin, McKesson, Citigroup, Liberty Mutual, General Electric, Lucent Technologies, Fidelity Investments, Johnson & Johnson, the U.S. Navy, Hertz, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Honeywell, Abbott Labs, Motorola, Staples, Verizon, Merck, and Oracle. Prior to that, he spent 16 years in human resources, most recently as Corp. H.R. Dir. at Computervision, a 6,000-employee company. Formerly an adjunct professor at Boston Univ.’s School of Mgmt., he holds a B.S. in Psychology, an MBA, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior. He has published numerous magazine articles and is the author of Becoming an Extraordinary Manager: The Five Essentials for Success, published by AMACOM in 2007. |

How to Publish a book

Henry M. Quinlan, owner and publisher of Omni Publishing Company, has 40+ years of varied experience in the publishing of books, newsletters, DVDs and CDs and the organizing of seminars. He founded Quinlan Press, a book publishing company, in 1986. Notable among the books that he published are: “My Life in Space” by Wally Schirra; “Rebound” by KC Jones, coach of the Boston Celtics; “My Dad the Babe” by his daughter, Dorothy Ruth Pirrone; “The Cops are Robbers” by Kevin Stevens, which was featured on 60 Minutes and made into an HBO movie. Henry M. Quinlan is also devotes some of his time to visit senior centers in various cities and towns to teach senior citizens how to write their autobiography or memoir and to self-publish. For those who want to market their books he instructs them on basic book marketing including getting their book on Amazon. |

Jamie Staton is the Sports Director and Weekday Sports Anchor at WMUR-TV. He joined Channel 9 in 1998. Catch all of his highlights and feature stories weekdays at 5, 6, 10, and 11pm. An Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award Winner, Jamie says he is extremely fortunate to be covering sports in his home state. He grew up in Windham and attended Pinkerton Academy, where he was inducted to the school's Hall of Fame in 2004. He is a graduate of Ithaca College. In 2017, Jamie was honored as the Broadcaster of the Year by the NH Association of Broadcasters. The award is recognition of his many years of dedicated sports coverage, his work as a journalist covering major events like the Boston Bombing and his tireless and exceptional efforts to help so many in need. |
