Aug. 29, 2017
"Patricia Violette has two undergraduate degrees in Business Communications and History from the University of Maine and a Master's degree in Education from Thomas College. She has been at the helm of some very successful museums since 1995 including her current leadership position at Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum. Previously in Boston, Patti is the Executive Director of the Indian Museum and leading this nonprofit organization into a more sustainable revenue stream through public and educational programming and vigorous fundraising efforts. The Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum was founded in 1990 by Charles 'Bud' Thompson and has grown exponentially in its 26 years of operations. It features Native American art and culture-ways through its well curated gallery which features not only the Northeast Woodland Indians but also allows visitors to gain a better world view of tribes across the Americas. Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum is the only museum in New Hampshire which focuses on Native Americans." |
