Thinking of Joining Nashua West Rotary Club?

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Rotarian.  Rotary International  is an association of individual clubs, with each club operating autonomously.

Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in their communities while greatly enriching their personal and professional lives. Membership in a Rotary club requires available business or professional classification opportunities as well as an invitation and sponsorship by a member of the club.

There is a limit on the number of persons from the same business and a larger limit on the number of members from the same category (industry types such as government, banking, legal or non-profit for example). We want to maintain a diverse membership that is representative of the greater Nashua business community, large and small. This helps prevent any one industry, or business category from having undue influence on the makeup and activities of the club.

Prospective Members Must Be:

  • Personally and actively engaged in the business or profession classification for which they would qualify;
  • Be of good character and have a good business and professional reputation;
  • Available to attend weekly lunch meetings as well as have time to serve on projects and committees throughout the year;
  • Be able to sustain an annual financial commitment of between one and two thousand dollars, which includes membership dues, weekly lunch fees and participation in various fund raising activities;
  • Prospective members are asked to join us as guests (with their sponsor) for several lunch meetings prior to being given an invitation to join.

What Does Membership Provide You?

Opportunities for our members include building relationships, connecting with community, and serving internationally.

Membership in a Rotary club offers a number of other benefits as well, including:

  • effecting change within the community
  • advancing business and professional contacts
  • developing leadership skills
  • gaining an understanding of — and having an impact on — international humanitarian issues

Through Rotary International's service programs, a Rotary club can have a significant effect on the quality of life in its community. Rotary Foundation programs offer opportunities to form international partnerships that help people in need worldwide. Some 1.4  million Rotarians in over 15,000 clubs in more than 145 countries make significant contributions to the quality of life at home and around the globe.

Want to get involved and help make a difference in the community and the world?

Join us for lunch as a guest to see Rotary in action, Tuesdays at noon at the First Baptist Church of Nashua.
  • What goes on at a lunch meeting?
    • After we enjoy a casual lunch with networking and social time, the President will open the meeting with a few formalities including the pledge of allegiance, God Bless America, and the Four Way Test
    • The opening is followed by some simple club business, announcements, schedule and activity updates etc.
    • We usually mix in some fellowship and fun including Fines & Frolics and a weekly auction where members can bid on a few items donated by members, all to help raise funds for our community giving program.
    • Every week we have a guest speaker who will give a 30 minute presentation on a business or community topic of interest.
    • The lunch meeting is about an hour and half of good food, fun, fellowship, networking and information.
