CHIEF ANDREW LAVOIE

• Member of the Nashua Police Dept. for the past 30 years.

• Started as a patrol officer and worked his way through all ranks from Patrolman, to Detective, to Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief and finally on January 1^st, 2015 was sworn in as the 34^th Chief in the history of the Nashua Police Department.

• Chief Lavoie has graduated from many supervisory development programs at every rank, to include the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Program.

• He holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Western New England University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Franklin Pierce University.

• On a personal note, Chief Lavoie has been married to his wife Deanna for the past 33 yrs. Deanna also serves the citizens of Nashua as a teacher in the Nashua School District. They have two adult children; a son Derek and a daughter Julie.
