Mar. 12, 2019 - Apr. 12, 2019
Once again, this year we will be having a DIAPER DRIVE, with proceeds going to several non-profits in the Nashua community. Right now we are targeting the following non-profits for this year's donations:
Staring March 12th through April 12th, Roy Rankin, Andrea Nelson and I will be collecting Diapers, Diaper Wipes, Diaper Coupons and monetary donations.
Just a Note: The size of the diapers is very important. Large sizes are what is mostly needed - Size 4 and larger, plus Pull-Ups. Drop off is at Helen Honorow's office at 161 Kinsley Street, Nashua. You can also bring any donations to one of our weekly meetings where we will be glad to collect them.
Please let's make this another successful fundraiser for our club.

The 4 Way Speech Contest will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Nashua. We would love to have as many Rotarians as possible participate in this program as an official or simply to eat snacks and support the students who participate. If you have a young person in your life who may want to some day participate we would encourage you to bring them along to the contest. If you would like to be a volunteer, please email Helen. Also, if you know any high school students in Nashua who you think might be interested in participating, please have them complete the registration form listed on the left. The Four Way Test speech contest is a competition for 9-12 graders. It requires each participating student to create and present a speech on a subject of their choice, applying the 4-Way Test to guide their thinking and their actions. History of the 4-Way Test From the earliest days of Rotary, Rotarians have been concerned with promoting high ethical standards in their professional lives. One of the world's most widely printed and quoted statements of business ethics is The 4-Way Test, which was created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor (who later served as Rotary International's president) when he was asked to take charge of a company that was facing bankruptcy. This 24-word test for employees to use in making decisions in their business and professional lives became the guide for sales, production, advertising, and all relations with suppliers and customers. The survival of the company is credited to this simple philosophy. Adopted by Rotary in 1943, The 4-Way Test has been translated into more than a hundred languages and published in thousands of ways.

Community Organization Assistance Program The Rotary Club of Nashua West provides financial assistance to local 501(c) 3 community organizations in the greater Nashua area to aid them in providing the necessary services and programs that meet our community’s needs. We provide assistance for many reasons: a specific project or program, purchase of equipment or supplies, or to assist in repairs and maintenance of facilities. We usually do not make awards to the general operating fund of an organization.
As you have applied for Rotary West funds in the past, or have contacted us to participate in our program, an application for funding is below. Please mail or deliver completed applications to: Helen Honorow, Esquire BARRY & HONOROW, P.L.L.C. 161 Kinsley Street Nashua, NH 03060
The deadline for applications for funds is Friday, April 26, 2019. All completed applications must include 12 copies of the application collated to include 12 copies of any attachments or brochures (also collated). Applications may not be sent forward via e-mail. You must submit 12 hard copies of your application and any attachments you wish to provide. All funds will be awarded by June 30, 2019 and each organization will be asked to make a presentation to the Rotary Club so that the Club members understand how the awarded funds are used.
Thank you for your efforts for our community. Please reply to this e-mail so that we are aware that you received it.
