Oct. 24, 2018
WORLD POLIO DAY OCTOBER 24, 2018 Help us make 2019 the first year around the world as POLIO FREE! To make this effort we are asking that each member of your club pledge $20.19 toward Polio relief before 12/31/18. We would also ask that your club recognize this day and promote public awareness. To make a contribution you club foundation chairperson should be able to assist you on your giving's. You can also visit Rotary International at: https://my.rotary.org/en/donate; select Polio donation. All Polio contributions are eligible for Paul Harris Fellow recognition also. Please also remember the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is pledging matching money to Rotary’s contributions. This district-wide effort is a team effort. Let’s all come together to support Polio and end this disease. We are so close. You can help us! Please share with the Public Awareness committee your Polio efforts. Promote your club’s recognition in your local papers and social media. Be proud of your club and its accomplishments! |
