On October 16th the Rotary Club of Nashua West dropped thousands of plastic ducks into the Nashua River to generate funding for its community programs. All proceeds from the event will be donated to prequalified local area nonprofit organizations and qualified high school seniors for scholarships.
This year’s Duck Derby was a huge success with the club exceeding their goal for 7,000 Duck Adoptions. And with near perfect weather those present on the day of the event
were able to listen to the oom-pah band the Wunder Kapelle sponsored by community partner, Great American Downtown. In addition, the Rotary Club provided a beer garden area and food trucks. Activities were provided for kids including a Mural Art Walk, skill
level games and cornhole.
The club would like to thank all of their sponsors including: Brady Sullivan Properties, Hamblett & Kerrigan PA, Naults Powersports, Northpoint Construction Management, Broad Street Planning, Enterprise Bank, Southern NH Health, Ripano Stoneworks, TheTelegraph, B&S Integrated Security, Chick-fil-a, Expert Design Solutions LLC, Focused Eye Care, Fox Pest Control, Law Logistics, Millyard Bank, Plodzid & Sanderson PA, St Mary’s Bank, White Mountain IT, Eaton & Berube Insurance, The Pain Relief Center, Edward Jones Investments, Triangle Credit Union, Barry & Honorow PLLC, FranklinSavings Bank, Lavoie Wealth Management and Nashua Area Kayak Exploration Destinations.
