This past week, Rotary West packaged food at the 68 Hours of Hunger warehouse. A total of 335 bags were prepared with essential food items to support Nashua families who may be impacted by food insecurity.
End 68 Hours of Hunger is a public non-profit effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school Friday and the free breakfast they receive in school Monday.
This is a mission that our club takes seriously. In addition, we were able to offer them some funds in order for them to continue this very important service in Nashua.
