Members of Nashua High North receive community grant money
from the Rotary Club of Nashua West.

On Tuesday, August 30th the Rotary Club of Nashua West announced the recipients of this year’s community grants awarded to area nonprofit organizations.
The meeting was opened with both the Club President and the Community Projects Chair sharing with Rotary Club West members and guests some of the community impact the club has had through our volunteer efforts, including the distribution of 1 million masks to our community in the early days of the pandemic and the annual purchase and distribution of children’s books to incarcerated parents in NH prisons who then share them with their children.

This year’s Community Awards distributed $40K to 37 area nonprofit organizations. These organizations use the grants to help attain their goals of outreach, assistance, and community building within the Greater Nashua Area.

This year the Rotary International theme is Imagine Rotary. Rotary unites people from all continents and cultures who take action to deliver real long-term solutions to issues locally and worldwide. Rotarians are volunteers of all ages who are professional community-minded individuals. There are 1.4 million Rotarians worldwide.
