Body Weight & Body Fat %
Jan. 26, 2016
Once we finish club business, those interested in the challenge can stick around and record your body weight & body fat %. It will be done via fit bit, so your personal info will be kept private. Those of you who want to to do it, a friendly "wager" of $5.00 will be collected. The winner of the challenge will take home the kitty! Think of it as an incentive :-) Weight loss will be measured by total % lost, not pounds. Body fat % will be starting point and end point. The challenge will end APRIL 19th - just in time for Spring! |

MakeIt Labs - NH's Largest Maker's Space
Mar. 01, 2016
MakeIt Labs is NH's first and largest makerspace located right here in Nashua. With the Grand Opening of their new location and more programs available, it's definitely one of Nashua's best kept secret. MakeIt Labs is a 100% volunteer-run Community-Operated Workshop providing tools and space for CAD/CAM designers, welders, robot designers, woodworkers, car repair enthusiasts and craft artisans alike .In addition, they offer their community outreach workshops and programs at local libraries, schools and for some in the community's' non-profit sector. Now located at 29 Crown Street (the former Anderson Cabinet Company), they are open for your visit. |

Mar. 21, 2016 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The 4 Way Speech Contest will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua. We would love to have as many Rotarians as possible participate in this program as an official, or simply to eat snacks and support the students who participate. They really appreciate the support of the audience, as do their parents. If you have a young person in your life who may want to some day participate, We would encourage you to bring them along to the contest. It is perfectly acceptable, so long as you are not an official, to stay for some period of time, and leave at the conclusion of any speech. If you would like to be a volunteer, would you please email Helen so that she knows how many she can count on for that evening? Also, if you know any high school student in Nashua who you think might be interested in participating, will you kindly forward them Helen's e-mail, and she will send them registration materials? Thanks! |
