Community Organization Assistance Program The Rotary Club of Nashua West provides financial assistance to local 501(c) 3 community organizations in the greater Nashua area to aid them in providing the necessary services and programs that meet our community’s needs. We provide assistance for many reasons: a specific project or program, purchase of equipment or supplies, or to assist in repairs and maintenance of facilities. We usually do not make awards to the general operating fund of an organization.
As you have applied for Rotary West funds in the past, or have contacted us to participate in our program, an application for funding is below. Please mail or deliver completed applications to: Helen Honorow, Esquire BARRY & HONOROW, P.L.L.C. 161 Kinsley Street Nashua, NH 03060
The deadline for applications for funds is Friday, April 26, 2019. All completed applications must include 12 copies of the application collated to include 12 copies of any attachments or brochures (also collated). Applications may not be sent forward via e-mail. You must submit 12 hard copies of your application and any attachments you wish to provide. All funds will be awarded by June 30, 2019 and each organization will be asked to make a presentation to the Rotary Club so that the Club members understand how the awarded funds are used.
Thank you for your efforts for our community. Please reply to this e-mail so that we are aware that you received it.

Would you rappel 24 stories because you believe in a cause? This summer, over 20 local non-profits are joining forces to go OVER THE EDGE in support of our community! In June, 120+ individuals will be rappelling down the Brady Sullivan Tower at 1000 Elm Street in Manchester. These individuals are taking up this challenge because they believe in the strength of teamwork. Their supporters include friends, family, colleagues… even random strangers simply wanting to support their cause. In the 2017, this event included only 70 participants and 10 teams… and raised OVER $140K for the community. In 2018, they raised over $181K. Imagine how amazing our event will be in 2019! |

HPV Vaccine & eliminating HPV related cancers
Oct. 22, 2019
A long time American Cancer Society volunteer, Katy is proud to say she began her career at the Society as a Relay For Life Community Manager. Katy worked alongside passionate volunteers in four Massachusetts communities to raise critical funds for the Society’s lifesaving mission. Katy has also served as a Mission Delivery Program Manager where she was responsible for the management of the Society’s cancer control programs and services such as Road To Recovery. Katy is thrilled to be in a position where she can utilize her extensive knowledge of the American Cancer Society to help donors achieve their philanthropic goals. Katy is a graduate of Clark University where she received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees. Katy is conversationally fluent in Spanish. When she is not at work doing her part in the fight against cancer, Katy likes to run the occasional marathon, and considers herself an amateur chef and travel expert. The presentation discusses the global HPV burden and it’s relationship to cancer and how we can make an impact in promoting the vaccine to help eliminate HPV related cancers worldwide. |
